Welcome to our Remote Client Support Page
In order to allow our staff to remote control your computer you need to do a few simple steps.
1) Download our remote control software by clicking here
If prompted select "Run" rather than "Save" that way you will always have the latest version.
If you receive any Windows Firewall warnings, make sure you click "Unblock".
If you are using Windows Vista or 7 and you receive a User Account Control (UAC) warning you should give it permission to run.
2) Read out the 6 digit code that is generated to our staff member.
If all goes well our staff member will be able to control your computer. You can tell that we are controlling your computer by the little blue "eye" icon in your taskbar.
3) When we are finished we will disconnect, and the little blue icon will disappear.
Some key points
1) We can only control your computer with your permission, you have to give us the six digit code for us to connect. The code is generated each time you run the remote control software and is random, we don't know what it is until you tell us.
2) Once we disconnect, we cannot re-connect without your permission, so we aren't able to access you computer until you let us. |
